Gender Equality champion nomination

Nominate a Gender Eqality Champion

The Gender Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Champions Award is an initiative introduced by the Jeremiah Lucas Opira Foundation (JLOF) Sweden in collaboration with its partners within the Creative Partnership Programme: Jeremiah Lucas Opira Foundation Uganda and Northood Production Initiative Gulu.

This award seeks  to honor and celebrate individual men and boys in Uganda who demonstrate an outstanding commitment to advancing gender equality, diversity, and inclusion within their communities.

By honoring these champions, we aim to spotlight their invaluable contributions in challenging biases, dismantling stereotypes, and fostering inclusive collaborations. Through their impactful efforts, we hope this award will inspire others to join the collective mission of building equitable and inclusive environments for all.

Up to ten (10) awards will be conferred upon individuals who meet the highest standards of excellence in advocacy, leadership, collaboration, and integrity. Each award signifies a commitment to shaping a more just and equitable society.

Nominees will be evaluated based on the following criteria to ensure the selection process identifies impactful and deserving champions:

  3. Proven ability to foster partnerships and inclusivity in driving positive change.
  4. Exceptional initiative and influence in leading gender equality initiatives.
